Seemingly random events, synchronicities, occur in my little bubble of choosing to be happy all the time. During a recent Zoom call the phrase “Love is the Solution” came forward. I couldn’t help but smile the whole time I was on this call! Why?
I’d visited my local library two weeks before, and discovered a table of magazines. I had been craving to craft a vision board of things that make me happy in this, what I accept now, as a beautiful life. After hanging it in my immediate living space, my eyes drifted to the word “solutions”, over and over again. Can you imagine two weeks of walking by and the only word you see on your master piece of magazine cutouts being solutions. I pondered over the word excessively.
I recognized two thing:
- I use the phrase “problems don’t have a solution; challenges do.” It’s easier to solve things as they come up with this phrase.
- I was frustrated with an employer. I’m not interested in rehashing what the problems are any longer…I am more interested in solutions. And I have given my solutions with zero responses (yes, plural).
The point is that -ism re-contextualizes how I’m defining any situation, and to a solution if necessary. The component I was “missing” was love. I have noticed myself being eager to open more to self-love.
As I expand with this, I know that self-love is a willingness to know you are 100% supported by the Universe and just how important it is to take care of you, while giving and receiving. And more importantly, witnessing without judgment.
We live in a world of context, the layers of every-thing. And the -ism is a way for me to be open and available a solution from Source; that which is generating my happiness. We are still here. We are still alive. So, hearing “Love is the Solution” made me excited! It catapulted me to come back to blogging after a four year or longer leave from Internet-ing.
A Journey of Expansion Challenge
Challenge yourself to look up the word solution and love in a dictionary found in your book collection or local library. Then ask some questions and see how you’re noticing your sense about these little, little words. Have fun discovering solutions knowing love is the answer. Then gather supplies, and make a vision board to see what happens in your world of awesomeness.
A deep bow to the teachers, mentors, and healers of the Yoga of Self-Ascension1. What an incredible journey since 2007. May this return to Internet-ing be always, and in all-ways fun, filled with love, and honoring those teachings. Namaste Day!
