What an exciting day! The journey south began under thirty-something degree temperatures with a gloriously bright sunrise. As with any good adventure, the need to pull over at a truck stop along the way is always a must after the hot steaming coffee consumption. Upon entering I heard a faint, “hello”. I answered with a hellooo! of my own grabbing everyone’s attention and some even smiling. The look on the lady’s face changed to a great big smile. When leaving I made it point to swing by her Cinnabon station to wish her the best day ever and she assured me that she would as she was giggling. Yes!
Continuing our journey to the city today, a small little accident backed traffic up for miles. As the traffic was slowed to the creepy crawlies, I had time to just gaze toward nature and the other folks around me. What was incredible about this is the bald eagle that flew over the traffic right before all of us were relaunched into highway speeds of ludicrous. Yes! Celebration!
And then….we arrived at the appointment, not an hour early and not late at all, just on time. Celebration of good news with the doc about the echocardiogram, with a bombshell of “tomorrow is my last day after 42 years”. Well, then, tell me how you’re feeling doc! Whoop! Congratz! Admittedly, sucks since the primary physician just retired, and now the heart doc, but new beginnings love, new beginnings.
Still with me? I said, it was an amazing day…
When out of town, go clothes shopping and to lunch! I have not been clothes shopping like this in a long, long, long, time. It was fun and sales were unexpected. People even felt comfortable enough to speak to me, probably cause I had no filter about some of the styles, so that was nice. Then, back at the vehicle, the husband wanted a restaurant/fast foodie place that we already go too. Yup, the limited options happen up here…a lot, but you get use to it by learning how to use ingredients! (The now outside joke to that is the husband wants to claim there is no food, when gosh golly there is – just has to be brought together. Yes. I think myself a decent home cooker cause I don’t burn water anymore, all right. *Laughing!!) I found a location called Hilltop Diner. Wouldn’t you know it? I found the old location of a Marie Calendar’s where many a meetings were held for the old company I worked for. I wasn’t even paying attention to its evolution. So, I hit up my old boss to say hi! He actually responded during the lunch rush I know he was in cause that’s the nature of the former job. And this was more of a moment toward a “good bosses I’d work for again” moments, so say hi and let him know of the synchronicity that was stumbled upon. Anyway.. check it out.. the shake station!
It doesn’t end there! On the way back, and after BEing/staying present moment to moment with the Mantra of Self-Ascension and saying to myself “look at God in action”, the truck I’d seen earlier on the way back with the Lord Shiva pulled into the rest area too! I got a picture! Yes. Yes I did.
What an incredible day! Incredible! Use your tools. Much love. Be Happy. You got this.
