The good, the bad, the ugly….all created by ME! Ha! Try that on for gratitude, with a smile because damn. I love my life.
See…I thought I was suppose to be on vacation; planned it all out back in June. Enter a hell of a lot of sequences and we get that I’m not in South America enjoying some traditional foods/beverages, color and dance. Ah..deep sigh..oh well. Evidently, I’ll be addressing my self-care in other ways. Ha! Ha! Ha! Like going to the dentist. (Aww…one of my regulars just came on through at the part-time gig remembering I wasn’t suppose to be here. LOL…cool. Me: feeling special…)
In other news of the moments…
*I visited the Thunder-rock! Yes! My bestie and I took a trip up the road and viola! A rock…a Rain Rock. Mystical. Magical. Lovely. The literature I’ve been able to dig up, thank you Berkeley, is rich in texture/content, however, standing before it (and any other testament of marvel), my goodness. It makes me recognize not to take shit so fuggn’ personal. Doesn’t work all the time…so…..
*Out loud, and in those moments, I say, “my attitude is my own.” When I’ve been asked about the phrase, all I say is, “I am recognizing that it’s my own values/me bumping up against something I do/don’t agree with and thus re-acting or pro-acting?” Over the last few weeks I’ve overheard a few folks using it on themselves. Good.
*Have a proposal I’ve been tweaking lately. It has only just dawned on me: bathroom facilities. Well shit. Finding the gratitude in going back to the drawing board. Yes. Yes I am.
*On the job, the inspector signed off on some remodels. A-R-I-G-A-T-O! Happy dance!
*And in this moment…my hair. It has gone platinum blonde WITH a poof style all on its own reminiscent of the 80’s because of a lot of new growth. Gratitude baby. See now, I actually have to do something with it versus throw it up in a ponytail and go.
*OOOO…Happy Equinox!
Keep it random. Keep it fresh. Too much swirling energy, just stand center and be grateful. Walk away when stupid happens since it’s your own attitude. Take a vacation, or trip to the doctors. Drink your water. Be happy and kind -er to yourself.
